Screen Rant is thrilled to present an exclusive first look at BRIXITY, an upcoming mobile game from the creators of CookieRun: Kingdom. The new title comes from developer Studio Kingdom and publisher Devsisters, the latter of which is behind the several CookieRun universe entries that have been made since 2009. A new trailer shared with Screen Rant shows off the different facets and features of the game, giving players a better idea of what they can expect when it launches later this summer.

Instead of focusing on things like endless running and Star Jelly collection like CookieRun: Kingdom, BRIXITY is all about building. Players will be tasked with restoring Earth - which was destroyed 500 years ago - from the ground up through construction and recruiting help from characters called Pipos. These NPCs will have their own backstories and personalities, and getting to know them will interweave with the game's building aspects.

BRIXITY is slated to come out on August 24, with pre-registration available now until release day on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Android users can also enter to participate in early access until August 7, which will be available from August 10 through 21.

More About BRIXITY

A large city built in BRIXITY.

Screen Rant's exclusive trailer for BRIXITY shows off the game's main focal points: restore, recruit, and build your world. The title looks to offer a great amount of freedom when it comes to building, showing a slew of different Brix players can utilize in their building and demonstrating the capability to design entire cities. The BRIXITY trailer also begins with some interesting, somewhat existential questions like "What's left for humanity?" and "Is there any hope?" These seem to hint at the game's bigger narrative focus as players seek to answer these as they play.

Many games have tried to capture building elements of games like Minecraft, which has seen massive popularity largely in part due to the huge amount of freedom it offers players. The ability to build just about anything imaginable is a key part of what makes a city builder fun, which is looks like BRIXITY manages to capture. Players will be able to see these building capabilities for themselves and begin restoring Earth when BRIXITY releases later this summer.

BRIXITY will release for iOS and Android on August 24; pre-registration is available now.
