Summary

  • Isaac and Hannah lacked the ability to have meaningful conversations and only focused on breaking the rules and their physical attraction.
  • Isaac showed no desire to mature and continued to play games with his relationships, while Hannah showed no effort to make deeper connections.
  • Isaac and Hannah disrespected their fellow cast members by disregarding the rules, abruptly switching couples, and only prioritizing physical connections.

While Too Hot To Handle season 5 was filled with twists and turns, one of the most shocking moments was when Lana kicked off cast members Isaac Francis and Hannah Brooke right before the finale. The pair of hotties were notorious rule breakers on the show, but it was still surprising, as the cast members had been present since the first episode. Though it's possible to argue they deserved a second choice, Hannah and Isaac deserved to get kicked off Too Hot To Handle season 5.

Too Hot To Handle season 5 ended with Elys Hutchinson and Dre Woodard splitting the $100,000 prize fund as the winners. While Elys technically won, she chose to share her earnings with the deserving Too Hot To Handle winner Dre. However, they weren't the only cast members who showed significant maturity and growth. Louis Russell learned how to apologize to Christine Obanor, and Alex Snell admitted to Elys he was in love with her. When examining how much various cast members grew, it was apparent Isaac and Hannah, who showed no desire to change their player ways, needed to go.

10 Isaac & Hannah Couldn't Have A Real Conversation

Every time Isaac and Hannah attempted to chat, mainly to try and get a green light, they had no words. Their conversations entirely revolved around their desire to break the rules and their physical attraction to each other. The pair learned nothing about each other aside from their physical attributes.

9 Isaac Is A Player

Isaac THTH season 5

While many cast members, including Too Hot To Handle breakout star, Louis, started off season 5 as players, Isaac showed no desire to mature. After a touchingly romantic relationship with Courtney Randolph, he immediately caved to a kiss on a date with spicy newcomer Yazmin Marziali. When Yazmin attempted to grow and develop a real connection with Isaac, he moved on with superficial Hannah.

8 Isaac Is Disrespectful

Isaac Francis Courtney Randolph Too Hot To Handle

Although it's expected for cast members to explore different connections on Too Hot To Handle, Isaac was completely disrespectful in handling his partner jumping. He was incredibly cold when he cast Courtney aside and didn't tell Yazmin he would hop into Hannah's bed. The lack of communication blindsided these women and was rude.

7 Hannah Didn't Try To Make Deeper Connections

Louis Russell and Hannah Brooke Too Hot To Handle Season 5

Hannah didn't make a single attempt to form a deeper connection. When Christine was able to steal Louis away with the prospect of a real relationship, Hannah was cast aside. However, her connection with Louis was purely physical. Trey saw through her nonsense in an awkward dance scene-- rather than try to converse with Trey, she decided to dance for him. She found her match in Isaac, who also had no interest in participating in Lana's Too Hot To Handle retreat and focused purely on the physical.

6 Isaac & Hannah Didn't Respect Their Fellow Cast Members

Too Hot To Handle Season 5

While Isaac and Hannah weren't the only cast members spending money, they spent their fair share. Hannah was reticent to break the rules initially but quickly caved at Louis and Isaac's pact to break the rules in their couple together. Besides loudly complaining they couldn't have a connection without exploring the physical, they blindsided their cast members by abruptly switching couples.

5 Isaac & Hannah Only Wanted To Explore Physical Connections

Instead of attempting to get to know each other or anyone else on a deeper level, Isaac and Hannah refused to change their ways and only wanted to explore physical connections. While they could've gotten to know each other, they were stubborn in their player ways and didn't even know how. It was painful watching their stilted conversations.

4 Isaac & Hannah Didn't Respect The Rules

Other cast members broke the rules; after all, Louis and Christine once spent $48,000 of the THTH cash prize and were given the chance to win it back; however, Isaac and Hannah broke the rules just because they could. They would break rules and not seem sorry despite a lack of real connection with their partners. It wasn't even in service to a deeper connection.

3 Isaac & Hannah Couldn't Connect Outside Rule Breaks

Too Hot To Handle Season 5's Hannah Brooke

Isaac and Hannah seemed to have nothing in common other than they wanted to break the rules and didn't care about the Too Hot To Handle retreat. They consistently acted antagonistically but couldn't connect in any way besides the physical. In a final nail in the coffin, Isaac and Hannah were about to start making out in front of everyone when Lana interrupted the pair to eliminate them from the show.

2 Isaac & Hannah Were Ambivalent About The Retreat

Too Hot To Handle Season 5 Cast

While no one was thrilled to find out they were on Too Hot To Handle, other cast members, especially Dre and Elys, rose to the occasion to take the opportunity to grow as people. However, Isaac and Hannah were two cast members who showed no indication they had any desire to change. Their participation in retreat activities were lukewarm at best and ambivalent at worst.

1 Isaac & Hannah Didn't Show Their Personalities Outside Hooking Up

Too Hot To Handle Season 5 Isaac Francis

Isaac and Hannah seemed to have built their personalities on hooking up and being hot. While this was a common theme throughout the season, other cast members opened up about their lives and shared pieces of themselves that made them unique. Hannah and Isaac were eliminated from Too Hot To Handle season 5 with no other personality traits other than loving sex and being unable to connect with others outside the physical.
