But it had been just a few months after her husband died that she started dating Razvan. Amanda was married to her husband Jason Wilhelm for eight years. He turned 45 and started feeling “something in his chest,” which he thought was pneumonia. The X-rays and CT scans couldn’t detect anything. However, eight months later, Jason was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal ampullary cancer throughout his body. Just ten days after his diagnosis, Jason died, leaving behind Amanda and their two little kids.

Cleo is the first cast member who is trans in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. She's in a relationship with Christian, who’s never dated a transgender person before. This added strain to their relationship since they met in person in the UK. Cleo was assigned male at birth, but she identifies as a transgender woman. It was hard for Cleo to relate to her female peers growing up, no matter how much she tried to fit in. “It was just so hard to look in the mirror or to simply go about my daily life,” she said. On top of that, Cleo is also autistic. She was scared that people in her life wouldn't accept her.

5 Why Statler Didn’t Feel Accepted As A Child

During her 90 Day Fiancé introduction, Statler revealed, “I have a little something, a little neuro-spiciness called ADHD.” She explained how it’s a neurodevelopmental disorder that either makes her hyper-focused where she is a “1000 percent all in” or “zero focus at all,” which means she’s all over the place. Statler was adopted on the day she was born. Her parents already had two boys, who she could never match up to when it came to her studies. Statler referred to her brothers as the “golden children” who always got the perfect grades, were involved in sports, and basically excelled at everything they did. Meanwhile, Statler had terrible grades and always failed.

Tyray developed self-esteem issues due to his weight. Even though he's an extrovert, he finds it difficult to make friends, as he's conscious about the weight he gained as a kid. However, a woman from Barbados named Carmella came into Tyray’s life and changed everything. He met her on a dating app and started a romantic relationship on Snapchat, where she gave him hope for a better life and a future together. While doing their background checks, the 90 Day Fiancé producers found out Tyray was being catfished for the last four years by a man named Christian. He was pretending to be Carmella and taking money from Tyray.

So far, the only thing in common between Meisha and Nicola is their faith. They connected online some seven years ago after Meisha had a spiritual experience and started to understand Christianity. Nicola is a 46-year-old virgin, while Meisha was once married and has two daughters. Nicola has kept Meisha a secret from his family. While this is something that bothers Meisha, she's also having trouble being expressive with him. Meisha wants Nicola to treat her better, but he accuses her of playing the victim.

Before viewers met Sheila on 90 Day Fiancé, David spoke about giving her over $3,000 in a year during their two-year relationship. The money went towards the repairs of Sheila’s house, which had first caught fire and later been destroyed in a typhoon. Sheila was embarrassed about taking David to meet her parents, as she thought he could suspect she was using him for money when he saw the place she lives in. The run-down conditions of Sheila’s house were indeed heartbreaking. The house was situated amid lanes stinking of sewage and feces. David had to sleep on the floor of the one-story structure with Sheila, her mother Remedios, and her son Jhonreil.

It suggested that it was either Sheila’s mom or dad who has died and David will be joining her at the funeral. The person passed away suddenly after he and Sheila went to sleep.
