Aaron brought Charity to his family's home in Houston, Texas, where she met his mom Ethel, dad Eddie, older brother Edward, younger brother Erick, and Erick's wife, Audrey. In her confessional, Aaron's mother shared that Aaron is warm and loving. All she wanted was for him to be happy, and to be loved by someone who cares about him as much as she does. She and Charity had a great conversation, after which she told the cameras that she was very pleased with her. During their chat, she asked Charity if she was ready to say yes if Aaron proposed.

Charity admitted that she probably wouldn't say yes, but her answer wouldn't be a reflection of Aaron or where she stood with him. Rather, it would be because she values what a proposal means, and she only wants to do it once. She wants to be one hundred percent certain. Aaron's mother agreed that she should take it seriously. Charity later said in her confessional that her time with Aaron's family was going well, but she didn't know if they could get to a proposal with the time they had.

Aaron's dad then told her that they were so grateful that Aaron invited her to their home, but it blew his mind that he would do something like this. She said that meeting him and the rest of the family was the missing puzzle piece that was helping her to see the whole picture, due to how loving they were. Aaron's dad said that Aaron wanted to share something with someone for the rest of his life, before the age of 30.

She added that she more than liked Charity, and said that Aaron and Charity definitely have something. Aaron said that everything just felt so right. When Charity left Aaron's family, she said that she couldn't wait to come back. In her confessional, she said that Aaron's family was one that she'd want to be in. Charity said in her confessional that she felt that the sky was the limit for the both of them.

Aaron then played Lauren Alaina's song, "Just Wanna Know That You Love Me," which she had sung for them at a private concert on their one-on-one date. They danced on the football field, and Charity cried while they held each other. In her confessional, she said she felt so good after the date. She knew that Aaron loved and cared for her. She added that if it was her and Aaron at the end, she, "would have not a worry in this world." Charity said that her wish for the day was that she and Aaron could get back on track, and they did, and were moving at full force.

7 Charity Meets Joey's Family

At the beginning of Joey's hometown date in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, Charity opened up in her confessional. She said that last week, Joey told her that he was falling in love with her. She then revealed that, if all went well, she would be telling Joey that she was falling in love with him too. Charity was looking forward to a great day.

Joey, who is a tennis pro and instructor, brought Charity to the tennis court to give her first lesson. He gifted her with a tennis outfit, which she changed into. While they were on their date, his beloved Uncle Joe, who was his mentor, surprised Joey. In his confessional, Joey said that his uncle was the most special person in his life, and, in lots of ways, the person who made him the man that he is today. He revealed that Joe's opinion was the one that mattered the most to him because he knew him the best, so it was huge that he was there.

Uncle Joe told the cameras that he liked Charity, and she seemed fantastic, but something didn't feel one hundred percent right with Joey. He couldn't pinpoint specifically what it was - it was more of a feeling. He wanted to find out if Joey was thinking things through.

Before Charity met the rest of Joey's family, she admitted that she was nervous. She said that she never met a family that wasn't the same race as her. Joey understood, and said that he had nothing but high hopes and excitement. Charity was still considering telling Joey that she was falling in love with him, but she hadn't said it in a while, and felt nervous. Charity met Joey's mom Cathy, his dad Nick, his sister Ellie, his sister Carly, her husband Zach, and Uncle Joe.

Charity told Carly that she was falling in love with Joey, when Carly asked. When Joey spoke to his mom, he told her that he and Charity had talked about being in an interracial marriage. His mom told him that if he was being real, there would be no doubt that Charity would fall in love with him. Joey questioned if his mom was doubting if he was being authentic. She said no, and he asked why she was worried. His mom said that she was afraid he could get his heart broken, and she cried.

Joey later asked Uncle Joe for his unfiltered opinion because he needed it. He told him that he liked Charity, but, on the tennis court, Joey didn't seem comfortable, and seemed anxious. He admitted that his biggest concern was if Joey was portraying himself, or playing a part for Charity's sake. He reminded him that they'd, "been down this road a ton. Has this experience been about you being you?" Joey answered that he was, "very confident" that he'd been his most genuine self with Charity.

In his confessional, Uncle Joe said that Joey is, "a little bit of a pleaser," and it was his fear that he could become somebody that the other person wanted him to be. He wanted to see Joey in a relationship where he was comfortable being a hundred percent Joey. He told Joey it was hitting him like a ton of bricks that he might ask Charity to marry him. He confessed that he was cynical about them getting engaged after such a short amount of time.

Joey told the cameras that none of it surprised him, and he felt confident about Charity, regardless of his uncle's thoughts. He told his uncle that he hoped that the next time he saw him, he'd be engaged to Charity. Uncle Joe told the cameras that it would be challenging to make sure it's real. He wanted to talk to Charity. Before their conversation, Charity said that she felt very confident about where her relationship with Joey was headed, so she planned to tell him that she was falling in love with him.

However, Uncle Joe told Charity that he didn't know if Joey was currently ready to be a husband and dad, although he'd be great at it someday. Uncle Joe told Charity that Joey oftentimes tries to be somebody that he thinks others want him to be. He told her that on the tennis court, he got a vibe that Joey was trying to be somebody that Charity wants. When Uncle Joe asked Charity how confident she was that she had the genuine, real Joey, she said that she was fairly confident.

However, Charity told the cameras that she was very much confused. It was concerning and alarming, and maybe she was missing something, but she didn't know what. After the family meeting, Joey again told Charity he was falling in love with her. Charity ended up not telling him the same. In her confessional, she said, "I think I came in here obviously wanting everything to go supergreat. But it didn't go bad; it went good."

Charity cried when she said goodbye to Joey, which confused him. He said that their conversation felt weird, and she seemed kind of uncomfortable. Joey admitted that every time he'd left her before, he'd felt confident, but this time, for some reason, he just didn't. He wondered if it could be the end for them.

Instead, she'd meet his grandmother and siblings. Dotun's grandmother cooked food for the family. In her confessional, she said that she could see that Dotun and Charity were, "bonded from Heaven." Dotun's family was happy to hear that Charity had tasted Nigerian food before, as her best friend is Nigerian.

During a conversation with host Jesse Palmer, Charity admitted that she didn't get the clarity she needed during hometown dates. Every relationship had gotten stronger, and it was making her decision a lot harder. Charity told Jesse that she was falling in love with Aaron, Xavier, Dotun, and Joey. However, she only felt doubt with Joey because of his Uncle Joe. Charity cried because she knew that she and one of the men would be heartbroken that night.

Joey told Jesse that he wasn't just falling in love with Charity, but was now in love with her, and he wished that he told Charity that. Aaron, Dotun, and Xavier were excited about their connections as well. Although Charity was conflicted because she was falling in love with all four of the men, she ultimately sent Aaron home. Aaron was shocked because he expected to receive a rose. In her confessional, Charity explained that she followed her gut in that she had connections with other people, and they were stronger.

However, Charity admitted to the cameras that, if she had more time, she probably would've gotten there with Aaron.
