Southern Charm season 9 will officially be returning this fall, with more drama than ever before, according to a just-released trailer. Last season was a whirlwind, between Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green's deteriorating relationship, to Craig Conover wanting to start a life with his girlfriend, Summer House star Paige DeSorbo. Austen Kroll navigated his on-again, off-again romance with Olivia Flowers while still having feelings for his ex, Ciara Miller.

Nonetheless, the new Southern Charm season 9 trailer from Bravo has given fans a taste of what to expect in the new season. Surprisingly, despite the complicated relationship dynamics that dominated last season, things appear to be even more entangled.

One of the key takeaways from the new Southern Charm season 9 trailer is the potential romance between Austen and Taylor. In one of the eye-raising moments from the trailer, Austen confessed that something happened between him and Taylor before his ex Madison LeCroy exclaimed, "Did you f*** Taylor or not?"

However, that potential romance might face a tough hurdle since the trailer released by Bravo also teases a possible rekindling between Taylor and her ex Shep Rose. In one of the scenes from the trailer, Olivia told Austen that Taylor woke up in Shep's room before the former was seen admitting to Craig Conover over the phone, "Shep and Taylor banged." Southern Charm season 9 begins in September, and the trailer teased a season that will be more intense than ever. Olivia bluntly asked Taylor, "Did y'all ever hook up ever?" referring to Taylor's rumored hookup with Olivia's former fling, Austen. "Never, swear in my life," Taylor replied.

Craig's relationship with Summer House star Paige had been one of the most recent stable relationships for any Southern Charm star. Impressively, the duo has been able to maintain a steady romance despite the long distance. However, deciding the next best step to take in their romance might threaten their entire relationship. According to the Southern Charm season 9 trailer, Paige wants to keep their relationship as it is and isn't considering getting married. However, Craig seemed confused by her reluctance to tie the knot, asking, “Why would we date if we’re not going to take the next step?”

Southern Charm Season 9 Revisits Old Wounds & A New Baby

Although it's been four years since their relationship ended, Austen and Madison appear to still retain ill feelings towards each other. The Southern Charm season 9 trailer teased a clash between the two, with Austen telling Madison, “You are a sloppy mess. You always have been.” Austen and Madison's relationship started in 2018, and during its three-year run, the duo had to scale through many hurdles before their eventual breakup in December 2020. Nonetheless, fans will have to wait until the season premieres to know what caused the newfound tension between the ex-partners.

Meanwhile, it is not all bleak for Madison because, besides her feud with Austen, the trailer also teased that the 32-year-old could be expecting another baby. Madison, who is mom to 10-year-old son Hudson, noted she felt nauseous on the way to visit her doctor.

Since its premiere, Southern Charm has continued its run as one of Bravo's most popular series. However, with the Southern Charm season 9 trailer detailing more drama between the stars, the new season promises to be a must-watch for fans.
