WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR BIG BROTHER 25!!

Summary

  • Big Brother 25 has started, and Reilly has kept Kirsten and Felicia as the first two nominees of the season.
  • Reilly un-nominated Jared and Cory, making Kirsten her target. The majority of the house agrees.
  • Kirsten is upset about being nominated and was seen crying in the Scary-verse bedroom. The Power of Veto could change the nominations.

The Big Brother 25 game is in full swing, as current Head of Household (HOH) Reilly Smedley has determined the first two nominees of the season. Because the Scramble-verse twisted the game, there were four nominees on the chopping block before the HOH competition was even played. They were the losers of the multiverse competitions, and included Kirsten Elwin, Felicia Cannon, Jared Fields, and Cory Wurtenberger. Reilly had the unusual responsibility of un-nominating two of the houseguests, instead of choosing two nominees on her own.

The Big Brother 25 live feeds have revealed that Reilly decided to keep Kirsten and Felicia as the week 1 nominees, and un-nominate Jared and Cory. Kirsten is Reilly's target, and the majority of the house seems to agree with that decision. Originally, it seemed as though Reilly was going to use Cory as a pawn next to Kirsten, but that changed.

Kirsten Elwin Isn't Happy About Being Nominated

The Big Brother 25 live feeds were down for about two hours during the nomination ceremony. When they returned, Reilly was upset and being comforted by Jag. He told her that she did a good job. Reilly expressed that she was scared to leave her HOH room because she was afraid Kirsten or Izzy Gleicher would confront her. Cameron Hardin, Jag, and Reilly talked about how Kirsten was very upset when she was nominated. Kirsten was later seen crying in the Scary-verse bedroom. She was alone to check her emotions.

Although it's never fun to be nominated, the Big Brother season 25 week 1 nominations were different because Reilly didn't decide them. Kirsten lost the Humili-verse competition, and that's why she was on the chopping block. Reilly might have decided to save other people, but the pressure was off of her to make the initial decision about whom to nominate. It was almost like winning the Power of Veto, rather than HOH.

Kirsten and Felicia are still on the chopping block, but there's still a lot of game to be played this week. The Power of Veto is still up for grabs, and it's possible that things could change. Both of them could end up staying if Kirsten wins the Power of Veto, and Felicia isn't the true target. It will all depend on what happens next in the house socially and with the game. Another scenario is that the Scramble-verse could add another twist to the game, switching up the Power of Veto like it did with the HOH. Everyone should always "expect the unexpected."

Big Brother airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
