In a galaxy already brimming with awesome alien worlds, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor managed to add six more to those already seen in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Together the two games take players to a variety of landscapes, from deserts filled with ruins to the city world of Coruscant. Each planet has its own atmosphere and is able to stand out both in terms of ecology and feel.

Both Star Wars Jedi games use a healthy mix of pre-established planets and new ones created specifically for the plot. This is no small feat, although some of the best Star Wars planets have come from games rather than the movies. With seven worlds in Jedi: Fallen Order and six in Jedi: Survivor to visit, players are spoiled for choice when sightseeing in these Star Wars games.

13 Nur

Fortress Inquisitorius stands in the ocean on the water world of Nur Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

The watery moon of Nur is the home of the Inquisitors and a heavily significant place in the Star Wars galaxy. Nur is visited late in Jedi: Fallen Order as Cal and Cere infiltrate the imposing Fortress Inquisitorius and has some of the best fights and set pieces in the game. However, as the reason for being on Nur is so mission-specific, there is no time for exploration beyond the Fortress, meaning very little is seen of this Outer Rim world.

12 Bracca

Run by the Scrapper Guild, Bracca is the starting point of Jedi: Fallen Order. The whole planet is one giant junkyard filled with workers breaking down Republic ships and players starting a new game should take a moment to take in the view. It's a shame that players get to spend so little time there with no option to return, even to explore.

11 Nova Garon

The Mantis flies into the ISB base at the asteroid Nova Garon in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Technically Nova Garon isn’t a planet, as the Imperial base sits on an asteroid, but it is still a place players can visit with Cal late in Jedi: Survivor. The ISB satellite station is under the purview of Commander Denvik and is the smallest area in Jedi: Survivor, but is packed with plot and insight into the Empire. Players can wander the halls listening in on conversations and in-fighting between the ISB officers, stormtroopers and the infamous Inquisitorius purge troopers, adding interest to this otherwise nondescript location.

10 The Shattered Moon

The Shattered Moon of Koboh showing the moon with pieces breaking away from the surface Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Broken into pieces during the Great Hyperspace Disaster of the High Republic, the Shattered Moon of Koboh is such a cool place. Although this is another Jedi: Survivor location players can visit that technically isn’t a planet, the Shattered Moon plays a very important part in the plot of the game. It’s such a shame that there isn’t more opportunity to explore this area, as the lore surrounding the Shattered Moon and the information Cal learns here is fantastic. Each visit here is tied to very specific reasons and the map is very linear because of this, which is unfortunate as the Shattered Moon has a really awesome design.

9 Tanalorr

The Stinger Mantis approaching Tanalorr in the Koboh Abyss - the planet surrounded by the abyss' purple, cosmic miasma.

Tanalorr is an odd location in Jedi: Survivor as, although it is central to the plot, players don't really get to see much of this very important planet. Discovered by High Republic Jedi Dagan Gera, Tanalorr was hidden from the rest of the galaxy by the Koboh Abyss, making it extremely hard to get to. It's not until the very end of the game that players get to set foot on this gorgeous planet, which is a shame, as many would have loved the chance to explore this beautiful world for a little longer.

8 Ilum

The Mantis arrives on Ilum in Jedi Fallen Order

While not looking like much on the surface, beneath the ice of Ilum is its most important feature: kyber crystals. Players are able to explore Ilum in Jedi: Fallen Order and the Jedi temple is the highlight full of puzzles and important lore as Cal searches for a new kyber crystal. Beyond the temple, there is nothing else to see as Ilum is an icy wasteland, but that is easily overlooked due to Ilum's significant role in the game and Star Wars Jedi lore as a whole.

7 Bogano

Jedi: Fallen Order's Vault on the Star Wars planet of Bogano, a tall, thin ruin built out of rock.

Bogano is the first place in Jedi: Fallen Order where players get to stretch Cal's legs and actually do some exploring. The planet is beautiful in its apparent simplicity, with grassy wetlands and mesas all leading to the towering Zeffo Vault. Bogano has a peaceful feel to it (unless players are attempting to take on Oggdo Bogdo) and sort of serves as Fallen Order's hub world; an idea that would be expanded on in Jedi: Survivor with Koboh.

6 Coruscant

The Stinger Mantis in orbit above Coruscant

As the capital world of the Galactic Republic and then the Empire, Coruscant is pretty important in Star Wars lore. It is also the first place players get to explore when starting Jedi: Survivor as Cal escapes from Imperial forces. Wandering and leaping through the lower levels of Coruscant was amazing, with so much character packed into a fairly small map. Although Jedi: Survivor players can go back to Coruscant later in the game after unlocking a key ability, there is no plot reason to do so, which is a little disappointing. It would have been awesome to explore more of this vast city world and the internal politics of the Empire a little more closely.

5 Zeffo

There are no two ways about it – Zeffo is gorgeous. The wind-swept planet was home to the Zeffo people, and the ruins and tombs here are filled with lore and occasionally frustrating puzzles. The entire planet has a sort of melancholic feel to it as the inhabitants have been "relocated" by the Empire, further hammering home the evils of the fascist regime. However, even with the chillingly empty settlement, everywhere players look in Jedi: Fallen Order, there is a breathtaking view making Zeffo an absolute joy to explore.

4 Jedha

Jedha, also known as the Pilgrim Moon, is a world that was strong in the Force, and as such, became a holy site for many Force users. Players can visit Jedha's vast deserts during Jedi: Survivor and work alongside the Hidden Path and explore many of Jedha's ruins. The plot threads involving the Hidden Path link well with the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, while Jedha's fate is revealed in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, when the holy city is brutally destroyed.

3 Dathomir

Cal Kestis stands outside a temple on Dathomir Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

Dathomir had been seen previously in Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, which had several episodes dedicated to Asajj Ventress, the Nightsisters, and their eventual massacre. Because of this, revisiting the planet in Jedi: Fallen Order hits hard, while players who have never seen The Clone Wars are not left at a disadvantage. Dathomir is filled with a sense of foreboding which keeps players on their toes as they meet crucial characters like Taron Malicos and, most importantly, Merrin.

2 Kashyyyk

Easily the most beautiful planet in Jedi: Fallen Order, Kashyyyk is a joy to explore. Homeworld of the Wookiees, Cal visits Kashyyyk to find the inhabitants being used as slave labor and teams up with Saw Gerrera to attack an Imperial refinery. Just like Zeffo, Kashyyyk has some of the most gorgeous views and makes use of the plants to provide some fun traversal options. However, without a doubt, the most beautiful and breathtaking part of visiting Kashyyyk is the Origin Tree, a sacred tree that towers above the clouds.

1 Koboh

Cal and BD-1 stand on a cliff edge overlooking a valley on the planet Koboh in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. In the distance is a huge creature called a Trontoshell.

Designed for Jedi: Survivor, Koboh is the main hub world players will visit during a playthrough. Koboh has been wonderfully designed, with the many different areas providing unique environments in a believable way to keep the massive planet feeling fresh and interesting. The main outpost of Rambler's Reach soon feels like home as Plyoon's Saloon reacts and changes based on missions completed. Koboh is just the right size, packed with collectibles, side missions, and fantastic characters that it would take a truly dedicated completionist to see everything it had to offer in a single playthrough of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
