Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from season 2 of the Audible original Impact Winter, which has just made its debut. Created by Travis Beacham, who is best known for co-writing Pacific Rim and working on the Prime Video series Carnival Row, the groundbreaking audio series follows a vampire apocalypse. After a comet hits Earth, an "impact winter" descends on the planet and eclipses the sun, allowing vampires to take over the Earth.

Impact Winter season 2 has barely been released, but the project's incredible performance has already led to season 3 being greenlit. Skybound and Anonymous Content have also turned Impact Winter into a multi-platform story that includes comics and more.

More About Impact Winter

impact winter season 2

Screen Rant's exclusive clip from Impact Winter features Esme Creed-Miles as Hope and Caroline Ford as Penelope Chambers. Hope and Penelope uncover the bodies of two technicians, Hannah and Sam, and understand that things have been quiet for too long. However, there is one difference from a usual vampire attack — too much blood, which suggests the attacker didn't even bother to feed.

In addition to Creed-Miles and Ford, Impact Winter season 2 welcomes back returning stars Holliday Grainger (My Cousin Rachel), David Gyasi (The Diplomat), Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us), and Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones). New voices include Sacha Dhawan (The Great), Ralph Ineson (The Witch), Ellie Bamber (Willow), Danielle Galligan (Shadow and Bone), and Andrew Gower (Outlander).

In a recent press release, Zola Mashariki, Head of Audible Studios, shared excitement for the future of Impact Winter:

The hit first season of Impact Winter combined extraordinary storytelling with the highest-quality production value and performances. We’re delighted to deliver two new seasons of this powerful series that has captivated audiences across the globe. With the addition of new characters and a similarly immersive soundscape, we are confident that this epic tale will continue to provide listeners with a uniquely entertaining experience.
