Season 2 of Goblin Slayer sees a change in the production studio, as the series is now under the helm of Linden Films, which also produced Berserk, Tokyo Revengers, and Call of the Night.

Based on a popular light novel series and a manga, Goblin Slayer made waves at its debut for its controversial depiction of violence. The protagonist, only known as Goblin Slayer, also called Orcbolg by his elf companion and Beardcutter by his dwarf friend, is a far cry from classic fantasy protagonists. After seeing his village razed by goblins, his only purpose in life is to kill every single one of these evil creatures. While other adventurers see goblins as a low-level nuisance, Goblin Slayer knows the horror that these verminous monsters can cause, and he exterminates them efficiently and brutally.
