The greatest heroes in the DC Universe are about to cross paths with some frightening monsters in Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong. The ambitious crossover was announced at San Diego Comic-Con, and since then, fans have been buzzing about it. Though details are being kept under wraps, preview art hints at the amazing spectacle to come.

Also hyping up the miniseries is its writer Brian Buccellato, who revealed details on the upcoming event. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Buccellato hinted that other Titans will appear in the crossover. While no Titans were officially named, there are 15 monsters Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong should definitely include.

15 Zilla

Zilla Comic

Zilla was the star of the 1999 film Godzilla. Though his movie had the Godzilla name, fans worldwide were disappointed at the non-traditional take on the King of the Monsters. The beast is still a part of Godzilla canon and has even fought his counterpart in Godzilla: Rulers of the Earth. Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong would be the perfect time to introduce Godzilla’s Bizarro opposite to the Monsterverse (if only so the true Godzilla can knock him around a bit).

14 Skull Devil

Skullcrawler Comic

The Skull Devil is the mature form of the Skullcrawlers, Kong’s primary enemies from Kong: Skull Island. While Kong managed to take one Skull Devil out in the climax of the film, the Skullcrawlers are still around. The upcoming crossover presents a lot of potential for villains to use monsters for their own nefarious purposes, and there’s no doubt villains like Lex Luthor would see the value in a beast like the Skull Devil.

13 Gigan

Gigan Comic

There are a lot of Godzilla foes that look intimidating and Gigan has quite the sinister image. Gigan is a living weapon designed to conquer Earth in the name of the Nebulans. With scythes for arms and a bloodthirsty attitude, all Gigan wants is murder and mayhem. He hasn't been introduced in the Monsterverse yet, but Gigan would certainly be an addition fans would get a kick out of.

12 Battra

Battra Comic

Mothra may be a gentle kaiju, but Battra is her total opposite. Battra also wants to protect the Earth, but unlike Mothra, he sees humanity as a plague on the world and wants to rid the planet of humans in order to save it. Battra might not be the most famous monster in the Godzilla franchise, but he would make for an interesting villain for the Justice League to fight.

11 Jet Jaguar

Jet Jaguar Comic

Jet Jaguar isn’t a conventional Godzilla monster. He technically isn’t even a Titan. Jet Jaguar is a robot designed to protect the world from evil monsters. He’s teamed up with Godzilla to stop the Seatopians from using Megalon to destroy humanity. There’s likely going to be a lot of malicious Titans in the upcoming crossover and the Justice League could do with another superhero lending a hand to stop the monsters.

10 MUTO

MUTO Comic

The MUTOs were the first original Titan created for the Monsterverse. In the 2014 film Godzilla, a female and male pair attempted to repopulate their species, bringing them into conflict with the titular monster. While the MUTOs from Godzilla were killed, a Queen MUTO appeared in Godzilla vs. Kong. The crossover is a great opportunity to bring her back and see her spar with Godzilla or Kong.

9 Hedorah

Hedorah Comic

Hedorah is a classic Godzilla enemy and one whose appearance could serve as a timeless message. Hedorah is an alien kaiju that feeds on pollution. While he hasn’t appeared in the Monsterverse just yet, he’s incredibly strong and only grows more powerful the more pollution he consumes. Bringing him back could introduce him to Legendary’s continuity and serve as a statement on the effect pollution is having on the world.

8 SpaceGodzilla

SpaceGodzilla Comic

SpaceGodzilla is exactly what his name implies. He’s a twisted counterpart of the kaiju from outer space with overwhelming power and a high intellect. SpaceGodzilla is one of the most dangerous villains Godzilla ever fought. While most Godzilla villains are simply territorial, SpaceGodzilla is a force actively trying to destroy the world around him. Introducing him could raise the stakes for both the Justice League and Godzilla during their crossover.

7 Destroyah

Destroyah Comic

Much like how Godzilla was created by the atomic bomb, Destroyah was created by the Oxygen Destroyer, the weapon used to kill Godzilla in his first film. Destoryah is large, mean, and ready to kill anything in his path. The Justice League is used to fighting monsters that want to destroy the Earth. Having to fight Destroyah on top of an invading Godzilla and Kong would be a real challenge, even for the League.

6 Biollante

Biollante Comic

Biollante is a tragic kaiju and is a combination of a human’s consciousness, plant life, and Godzilla DNA. Biollante is a peculiar monster in that she’s a monster that she fights to protect and restore Earth, as seen in Godzilla: Cataclysm. Not only could her appearance add a bit of pathos to Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, but it would also make for a hell of a team-up if Biollante joined forces with Poison Ivy.

5 Rodan

Rodan Comic

After appearing in his own self-titled film, Rodan became one of Godzilla’s most recurring villains. He’s often been described as the Fire Demon, and his Monsterverse incarnation took that to the extreme, giving him powerful heat-based abilities. Rodan’s history fighting Godzilla hopefully earns him a spot in the upcoming crossover. With his fiery powers, he’d easily be able to tear through powerful Justice League members like Martian Manhunter.

4 Anguirus

Anguirus Comic

Batman and Superman may be the World’s Finest, but when it comes to monster pals, no one tops the pair of Godzilla and Anguirus. Anguirus is often portrayed as Godzilla’s closest ally, and the two have united to take on many sinister monsters together. Unfortunately, a skeleton similar to Anguirus was seen in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, implying Godzilla’s friend is gone. However, the crossover could see Godzilla reunite with his pal to confront the DC Universe.

3 Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla Comic

One of Godzilla’s most iconic enemies, Mechagodzilla was created as a countermeasure to the powerful beast. Godzilla vs. Kong introduced a new version of the mech, controlled by the reanimated brain of King Ghidorah. Though the robot was defeated, Mechagodzilla never stays down for good. In fact, preview art for Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong suggests there may be new mecha Titans introduced, such as a potentially kryptonite-powered mecha Kong.

2 King Ghidorah

King Ghidorah Comic

King Ghidorah is Godzilla’s greatest enemy and the two have fought countless times through numerous continuities. The lifelong foes fought in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, a battle that ended with Godzilla annihilating his enemy. Though the Monsterverse version of King Ghidorah is dead, an out-of-continuity event could bring him back, and be the driving force that unites the Justice League with Godzilla and Kong.

1 Mothra

Mothra Comic

Wherever Godzilla appears, his close confidante Mothra isn’t far behind. Godzilla: King of the Monsters established that Mothra had a symbiotic relationship with Godzilla, and she assisted him during his battles against the rebellious Titans. Though Mothra died in the film, an egg was discovered in her nest, suggesting a new one will take her place. If there was ever a time to bring the famed Titan back, it’d be during DC and Legendary Comics' highly-anticipated crossover.

There’s no telling what sort of monsters may or may not appear in the upcoming miniseries. But these 15 Titans should definitely make some sort of appearance when Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong debuts.
