Warning: Spoilers for Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #6The Jon Kent iteration of Superman fears only one member of the Justice League, and as revealed in Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #6: Wonder Woman. During the course of the Jon Kent miniseries, which sees Jon transported to the Injustice Universe, ruled over by an evil version of Clark Kent, he has become well-acquainted with that reality's Wonder Woman, and she terrifies him.

Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #6 – written by Tom Taylor, with art by Clayton Henry, color by Jordie Bellaire, and lettering by Wes Abbot – is action-filled, as Jon battles his way through Clark Kent's forces, he finally comes face-to-face with Wonder Woman. Thanks to his new power upgrade, Jon is at the fastest and strongest he's ever been, "but she's Diana, Princess of Themyscira."

Wonder Woman Terrifies Jon Kent (And Rightfully So)

Wonder Woman fights Jon Kent Superman in Jon Kent miniseries.

The Injustice Universe's Wonder Woman has proved deadly multiple times in the past, having murdered Martin Manhunter in Injustice #10, Huntress in Injustice: Year 3 #21, and Captain Atom in Injustice: Gods Among Us #32. Given that Captain Atom is too powerful to be kept alive in most universes, this is perhaps one of her most impressive feats. In Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #6, Wonder Woman is the only one of Superman's security forces that can land a strike on Jon. This is much to his detriment, as earlier in the issue he refers to her as, "the one I'm most afraid of."

Wonder Woman is a Threat in Every Universe

Wonder Woman kills Huntress in the Injustice Gods Among Us comic.

Jon Kent is understandably afraid of Wonder Woman, because he knows she can and will end him. Their confrontation in Jon Kent #6 – as Jon attempts a brute-force rescue of Batman and Harley Quinn before Superman executes them – confirms this, as she sends him retreating. Although Jon Kent has known this version of Wonder Woman only days, he's well aware of how dangerous Diana is in the main DC canon. Like the corrupted Injustice version, the classic Diana Prince has a killer instinct, as showcased when she snapped Maxwell Lord's neck in Wonder Woman #219, as soon as she realizes that he's a bigger problem alive than dead.

As Jon Kent faced the idea that his "father" is a homicidal dictator in the Injustice Universe, the young her inevitably forced into a confrontation with the Superman of this world – and by extension, his chief enforcer, Wonder Woman. If there is one consistent fact across wide swaths of the multiverse, it is that Wonder Woman is their deadliest member. Though Jon Kent escaped with his life after going up against the Princess of Themyscira, and went on to confront Injustice's Superman in the conclusion to the Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent miniseries, Jon's fear of Wonder Woman was wholly justified by their encounter.
